When a therapist is out-of-network, they do not have a contract rate with your health insurance provider.

Insurance: I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means that I do not accept insurance for my services, only my standard rate of $175 per session. As a courtesy, I can provide a monthly invoice called a superbill you can submit to your insurance—some insurance plans may reimburse you for a portion of the therapy cost. Below are helpful suggestions to ask your insurance to determine your coverage:

• What are my mental health benefits? Do these include out-of-network benefits?

• What percentage is covered?

• Do I have a deductible that needs met?

• How do I submit a superbill for potential reimbursement?

I reserve sliding scale fees in my schedule for clients who may need them. If you want to work with me and need this option, please ask if I have the availability.
