      <image:caption>Welcome! I’m Jill. I love working with others and I always have. It can take courage to be in therapy. And I believe that if we can experience trauma and pain, then we can experience peace and healing, too. For over 15+ years, I have treated adults, adolescents, children and parents. My approach offers a down-to-earth quality, creating comfort and compassion in the therapeutic relationship. Throughout my career, I have deepened my understanding of the nervous system, both brain hemispheres, and several eastern medicine healing modalities to complement my social work roots. I blend traditional talk therapy with practices that honor the wisdom of the body and the intuitive guidance of emotions. My clinical skills offer depth and a steady presence for clients to experience inner healing—ranging anywhere from treating chronic and acute trauma; to providing a safe container to reprocess the past; to offering emotional insight and self-regulation skills. Background: As a clinician, I have worked in several mental health settings on both the East and West Coast. I have experience in several outpatient settings, private practice, and intensive in-home family therapy with youth and parents. By collaborating with individual and family systems, juvenile probation, IEP teams, and county mental health programs, I developed many of my specialties for anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorders: EMDR, (t)Trauma-informed care, and attachment and relationship healing at all ages. Outside of therapy sessions, I enjoy very simple things. I love being active, being outside, and being creative. One of my favorite things to do is to sit at a coffee shop and create trainings for other mental health professionals.</image:caption>
